Casting for Characters

When Looking into casting for the who's faces we wanted to use these were some of our final candidates. We wanted to make sure that each face had the write look and that the person could convey the perfect dead pan stare that we were looking for.

James was a perfect candidate the stare he gives off isn't quite as serious looking as the rest of the faces which gave the video a slightly more varied look to it, rather than dead pan serious faces all the time. He also represents the middle-class man, with a well paid job.

Manpreets glance is very serious and conveys a lot of emotion which was perfect for what we were looking for, he was also very good at lip syncing. We also used Manpreet for racial diversity broadening our video to greater audiences. He represents a normal Teenage boy.

Alice was very photogentic and her face looks good on camera, as well as being good at lip syncing we needed more female faces within the video to keep things diverse. She represents the teenage girl.

Alex again had a great dead pan expression and added the element of seriousness to the video. We felt that his facial expressions gave off a certain kind of emotion that can really be received on video.

Ash was added to give a more diverse age range to the faces line up, again a very serious dead pan facial expression yet sometimes you can see an element of happiness.  He represents the older members of the faces group.

Charlie here representing the teenage category, being used was mainly out of necessity, however he pulled off lip syncing fairly well.

Sousen again representing the older members giving the age diversity more to talk about, and giving the video a more diverse feel, so not to alienate any particular community of people that would view out video.

My Cousin added to give a more ethnic and sexually diverse feel the the video. She also looked good on camera making the video feel and look a lot more professional.

Omar representing the young adult/student community, opening up another segment of potential viewers.

Casted to add to the already very ethnically diverse cast.

Colette was added as she looked good on camera and lip synced well, we also wanted to add more female faces.
